Four-star linebacker Noah Glover is down to six schools. And yes, you already know Miami made the cut.
The Haymarket (Va.) Battlefield standout trimmed things up and kept the Hurricanes firmly in the mix alongside Georgia, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Oregon.
According to 247Sports, Glover is ranked No. 125 overall in the country and checks in as the No. 8 linebacker nationally.
As a junior at Battlefield High School, Glover was all over the field. He recorded 73 total tackles, added five sacks, and broke up two passes across nine games. He also blocked two punts during the season.
Miami already got him on campus for an unofficial visit to the Florida game this past season, a game the Hurricanes won. Never hurts when a recruit sees a big-time atmosphere and a dub while he’s in the building.
He’s been around other programs plenty too. Virginia Tech has hosted him four times, Rutgers three times, Penn State twice, and Georgia most recently last month.
No commitment date yet, but this feels like it’s shaping up to be a good one. Mario Cristobal and the staff are swinging at the right kind of prospects, and Glover would absolutely fit the mold of the next elite linebacker to wear the U.
This one’s going to be a race.
Go Canes.
