If we can do what I think we can do at WR and get Smith and Brown. I think Malik Curtis gets processed out for Markevious Brown who is a much better corner.

LCE, what do you make of this? You’ve always said he’s going to be a tough pull that will go the distance.
I think by process of elimination Miami has put ourselves in a good spot.

He's not a take for Bama or UF (as of now), so that leaves Va Tech, Tenn & PSU, all schools he's yet to visit yet.

Idk if we get him, but maybe we win this battle. His family is all Canes fans &,we got some good momentum in our favor, hopefully it works out.

Nope.

Malik Curtis isn't getting processed out, we're taking 3 corners this class.

And Yulkeith is not a P5 CB, he's a Slot-back/RB at the next level, he only played some CB at Central last year because one of their Corners wound up transferring right before the season so they were down on bodies & by the time Yul got there they needed depth.

Based on? They legit just offered McGhee after knowing about him for months.
Based him putting us in a top 5 24 hours later. You think a kid with his offer sheet would’ve done that if he wasn’t really considering us and we weren’t considering him?

This staff doesn't always make sense though, especially on defense. Could be either or with McGhee or Brown. They could be trying to put some pressure on Brown, since McGhee is announcing first. And honestly, out of McGhee's Top 5, we're clearly his best choice. I don't think he can commit to UGA. That Bama offer isn't committable right now either.

I don’t see us dropping anybody, but especially anyone from south Florida. Public relations with recruiting is an area we need to stay strong at.

I dont know how any 1 can watch Curtis tape and want to drop him.
Because there’s not skill and the guy I’M dropping him for ran 4.56 as a junior and he hasn’t even seen a weight room yet. Choosing Curtis over McGhee if that’s what it comes down too is the equivalence of choosing WRX over a GTR. WRX can be a really fast car if you work on it but it doesn’t have the built in potential the GTR has.

Oh how things have changed. It was seemingly a few seasons ago and we were fighting to keep a good class intact. Now we’re clamoring about which player we should drop to shore up a better class. I truly pray we see that winning on the field will keep us in the Top 5 lists of local kids and aid us in consistently securing top flight classes. We put a better product on the field, plus SB 646 - the kids should and will want to play at the U again.
