DTP??? Smart Player on the Field? Sorry my fellow U fan No Way! Did you ever Watch a game he played in? Very Low Football IQ! Hard workers do Constuction Work! His Leadership Skills will serve him well In Life(God Bless) But not make him coveted in the League. Love him on the sidelines But he gets lost in Game Action! Agree he Isn't a very good athlete. To say His Speed isn't an issue for him I get your point But In Todays Game Speed So matters He lacks it. Todays game Played in Space Leaves Shaq on the Unemployment Line! Backup in the NFL Need Lateral skills and speed As U said He lacks Both! Too many Better prospects out there! No Disrespect!

NOW YOUR TALKING Mklein13! I think it was 551 and 802 plays! Short and to the Point! Well Done! I want All the Miami Players to make the League But They all aren't Going too!

Falcons, Ravens, Bills, and Panthers have had him for visits or met with him publicly. All of those teams have also met with a ton of LBs that project as Day 1/2 players. There is a chance Quaterman is a second drafted linebacker with a team that drafts a player to play the Mike spot. Tough road ahead, but he's such a good, hard working dude, someone is going to find a place to play him...it just might have to be as a special teams player early on.

I wouldn't be shocked if someone likes him ahead and takes early on Day 3. Wouldn't be shocked if he goes undrafted. He's one of those players that is going to be limited to the number of teams that have him on their boards and projects as a developmental player that likely doesn't project to start any time soon. I think it'd be interesting to see some teams look at him as a pass rusher over a more traditional downhill Mike. He was a good blitzer here and had success on the edge as well as between the tackles getting in the backfield.

He screams Raven though. idk.

There 3 things about Shaq that will be huge factors in his favor; things head coaches savor:.. good leadership, ZERO off field problems; 52 straight starts. These things matter in today's NFL

Terrible in Pass coverage....Bad angles.....Better UM teams??....There isn't one Very Good or Elite UM team that he'd have started on....
Exactly. He might not have even got an offer from butch to be honest.

Robert knowles improved more than Shaq over time. Shaq is what he is.

Y’all hate every player that come out of the U nowadays lol. Shaq ain’t did nothing wrong to be constantly sh*tted on. I hope he proves Everyone wrong at the next level. Was a perfect player? No but he was a good linebacker at Miami and played hard
Lol

Butch at FIU would've offered....but not UM Butch.....Why??....What Butch Led UM team would he have started on?..
Y’all tripping now, Shaq was one of the best linebackers in the country out of highschool and have played like one of the best in the country at the position despite not necessarily having elite athleticism but that didn’t stop him being one of the most productive linebackers in the country the last 4 years

If he didn't have a straight line kill shot, he was often whiffing. High character guy, and one I want to see do well in the NFL, but I just don't see him sticking around long. However, I do see him having a great life, because he is a high character guy that I am sure took advantage of the education he got at UM.

Because they had MUCH better coaching...and were much better LBers to begin with...
You need to take into consideration who played in front of Shaq. He had UDFA’s and late round picks like Norton and Willis in front of him. Those 1st round LBs had Wilfork, Brown, etc to open the gaps.
