Wow physically just reading on him he reminds me of Karlos Williams i mean being that big and being able to play rb or h-back like nothing?! This guy is a want!

Williams is way faster.

Isn't Williams a 4.3-4.4 guy? Lewis isn't in the same league, but he's much bigger.

I don't know his clock speed, but he might be the fastest guy in that team. Unreal speed.

Dalvin Cook actually beat Karlos in a race by a hair.

I believe I read a write up on him a while back that said we were recruiting him as an H Back, but at the same time Lewis said Miami told him they would have a few plays where he would take a handoff in the backfield.

You gotta give the staff credit...they are working all the angles.

Dude is very talented, but he is not an every down running back.

Thats what I meant though just size wise because Williams was a `top 10 recruit I think because of that speed and being able to play like 5 positions.

If im UM im showing him tape of Charles Clay because the Dolphins use him perfectly and they're close enough in size to make it work

Interesting that VT isn't listed on there (especially considering that's VT territory - Va Beach). Kid is fair game, imo, and we have a great shot at if he's going OOS.

Best case scenario he commits. We try him out at H-Back or Maybe move him to LB? Ala DJ Williams?

I wonder if Hugh's "operating budget" has recovered from his 2013 class yet. Those boys were slinging cash & didn't give f#ck. NCAA sure didn't either. It was no secret what they were doing to get that class in.

LMAO...that was one of the more blatant, in your face, turns to the dark side in recent memory. From absolute nada in recruiting to top of the food chain landing the #1 player in the nation and a ton more. Definitely a coach that didn't want Ole Miss to be the biggest gig on his resume and was willing to do whatever it took to compete in the $EC.....****, hard to blame him with about every school in conference around him doing it..

UM

Best part is you can blatantly see the difference the next year in recruiting and it's so obvious that they were more careful since they got so much heat

This makes the most sense... this kid can be what we need at OLB or SLB... **** maybe even the MLB spot. Just get him here first and get him on the field some how.

Added UCLA back into his top schools, where he was originally committed.

If we land him, I think that he would be one of our best recruits of the 2015 class. Sort of like the Trayone Gray of the 2014 class, meaning will make an early and often impact compared to the higher ranked players in class.

I hate the guy, but Kermit Whitfield holds that title. Not even a question

Ole Miss just kind of caught fire on the trail that year. There was probably standard level of benefits in play, which I don't really give a **** about. Everyone does it, we just get caught because we aren't a good ol' boy so we are resentful.

They already had Nkemdiche's brother on the team, and he was the number 1 recruit that other kids wanted to play with. As the momentum with him picked up, the momentum in general picked up. Pair that with the first year bump that Freeze got (he's the SEC Dabo Swinney) and boom, big time class.

If Lewis were to commit, he'd be tied with Jordan Scarlett and Dexter Williams as our highest-ranked recruit by 247. ESPN is inexplicably low on Lewis, but he's a legit blue-chip talent.

I've viewed him as a potential matchup nightmare as a move TE ever since I first watched his highlights. Pete mentioned in The Work that the staff views him as a WR/TE in the Kellen Winslow Jr. mold, which would be perfect.

Really hope he's able to visit before he announces his commitment. He'd be an enormous addition.
