Athens, Ga. is like an hour from Auburn. This was quite a recruiting coup.

The gap is closing! This kid is all about business. Wants to be an EE. Uses "we" when describing the Canes. The last two SoM guys left to close on are Dixon and Moten. I know we got McDermott (PB County) and Kaaya/Mom working on Dixon, feel good about that. Linder working Moten, should give us a good chance since I don't think he re-commits to the gayters. Moten is a tough read. Our South Florida family gotta role out the Orange carpet for him to feel loved.

Thats DPs replacement so I would love for him to come and learn from him early

Dp would be a wise man to stay for his senior year. He is undersized so beefing up another year and showing nfl scouts size ain't everything in his senior year would help him tremendously! And he could help teach Juwon!

DP will do whatever is best for him and if best for him is to stay, he will.. at the very least he won't be swayed by bs promises from sport agents. It also all depends on how this season goes

Al is invading the SEC homeland as well rebuilding Howard's fence. 2014 class is looking absolutely fantastic. If Young gets EE imagine what he will look like after U tough and nutrition. Kid is 230 beast coming in. We could be looking at a 240 true freshmen. In two years our D is going to be scary old school U.

He has been doing that for almost three years...sounds like a selfish fan to me. What will another year do for him...beefing up. he is like 235 on a 6 foot frame now. he can't add any more. Kid leaving like this is what Al would expect. Not some kid that can stand another year to grow and to improve. Scaryman will be all conference and potentially all-american if he continues to play like he has been. He will get a td or two this year. the miss against FAU was an anomaly...Juwon will be taught, no worries over here.

I agree I dont think DP needs to stay but I would love for him to obviously. Juwon to me can learn even a little like DP and it can help because not many backers on this team physically are like him so its an obvious conclusion that Perryman would be great for Juwon but at the end of the day if you're good, driven and focused you will succeed

Do work, Mr. Young. Lets get U in here to get U ready and bulked/condition for next year.

Agreed. I believe these kids wanna play for Golden and bring us another NC badly!

I hope and expect DP to be a professional this time next year.

On a side note, Barrow seems to be developing into a heckuva LB coach. Perryman was expected to be a real player here but he's getting good production from guys like Gaines, Cornelius, and Armbrister. Add Grace to the 2014 group and I'm excited about the LBs going forward..

Mianjomar, he is from Albany, GA, not Athens. Athens is where UGA is at. The day we sign a stud from Athens, GA, we MORE than BACK!!!

Our defense will be sick next year, contingent on us getting another JUCO DT. Also to the ones talking about DP, he comes out this year and he will get drafted in a decent spot. Stay another year and het better and he will be a 1st or 2nd rounder. He should stay.
