No excuses about not getting something done because of school, Pete. You must feed the Miami recruiting junkies first. ;) Good luck in school. Keep up the good work. Thanks for all you provide to this board, sincerely.

Love Khairi Clark, Anthony Moten, and Chad Thomas on the DL!

Thanks for posting, Peter

Matthew Thomas situation reminds me exactly of the Tracy Howard situation last year
D. Kirkland = Malcolm Lewis & Chad Thomas = Jermaine Grace

Its eerily similar

We need to take Bryant this year and load up on DTs next year with what seems to be a more legit class. We need to get on Moten ,Clark, and Christmas and see if we can get some EE. At the least we should lock in Moten and Clark.

I know its early, but putting 2013 and 2014 together, we should be good to great in almost every position, except that linebacker still looks weak.

What world do you live in?

This time last year that is what everyone was saying about this year's DT class (which is very good) - "we gotta get the 3 B's"

We are in good shape for Bryant and Bostwick (both studs) and then next year hopefully take 2 more in Clark and Moten (DT/DE). Taking one less DT in this class for the idea of pursuing Christmas is about as silly as it gets. Don't underestimate Bostwick. He is very good and explosive

+1 gcane. Bostwick is really almost just as big a prospect as Bryant. It's very evident with how good this DT class is with us not showing much interest in Bain and Senat, those 2 prospects are prospects are as good of prospects or better than what we currently have at DT.

With DP, EJ, Kirby, Blue, Paul, Terry, Grace, Thomas?, and whoever we sign in 2014, you think we look weak?

Jus passing this along

Chad Thomas @F5_Chad spent the night cheering on FSU. Talking about it as "We" and also ****ting on a couple of canes fans.

Take it however u want. Jus thought I'd share, cause its always fun to see what these kids r thinking

wait, now we can't let a kid from manatee "get away"?
what world do you guys live in? how long have you followed recruiting?
wow.

This from Charles Fishbein back in August:

Dade

DL-Chad Thomas-BTW-Looks more impressive every time I see him in person. He is a very gifted DE that will have offers from everyone in the SEC and ACC.

DL-Ted Celestin-Carol City-Not talked about right now but Celestin will end up a three year starter at DT. Kind of like a Teraz McCray type DT.

DL-Tony Baster-Hialeah-Did not play last year because of an injury. Another talented DL from Hialeah. Think about it....Adawale Ojomo, Corey Liuget, Corey Lemonier all came from Hialeah HS....Baster could be next.

LB-Frank Newman-Southridge-May or may not play at Southridge this year...May be at Homestead. He is a talent like Delvin Jones...Will he end up at as many hs by the end of his senior season.

LB-Michael Smith-Northwestern-Very talented linebacker...Has great frame...If Golden is looking to get bigger at LB this would be a good start. He will become a name everyone will know by season's end.

DB-Charles Romane-North Miami-Plays on offense at North Miami but could move over to defense...He may have already left North Miami for another HS...Ran a 4.4 at FSU Camp...I like him as a CB.

DB-Theodore Hammonds-Carol City- Hammonds comes from a school that produces talent...Not always the most hyped but still talented...He could be a kid to keep an eye on. I could see him camping at Miami next summer and getting an offer.

DB-Cornelius Floyd-Gulliver Prep-May end up the top defensive back in Dade County next year...Very talented.

DB-Nigel Patten-BTW-First time I saw Patten was this spring...He was very good all off-season. Every camp he went to Patten was one of the best defensive backs. Already has BCS offers.

Ath-Treon Harris-BTW- He plays QB but look for him to end up at DB in college. Harris is very good.

Ath-Gregory Howell-Coral Gables-Is a BIG BACK....6=1, 210...I see him as more of a LB in college. Gables has a new coach...And the younger classes have some serious talent.

Ath-Franklin Labady-Miami Edison-He may end up one of the best players in Dade County this season. He does everything.....plays RB, WR, DB...You name it this kid gets it done. He may not get big time offers...but he will have a nice highlight film this year.

Ath.-Jo Jo Robinson-Northwestern-(Committed to FSU)....Every coach over at the West swears by this kid....He is a talented athlete who will most likely end up at CB in college. I saw him play in a scrimmage at FIU earlier this spring and he was NW best player....Can he find a position and settle in at

Broward

DL-Khairi Clark-Chaminade-May end up the top DT in Florida for 2014. He is big and athletic. Only concern is he does not dominate all the time and plays against less than stellar comp.

DL-Anthony Moten-Saint Thomas-Similar to Jelani Hamilton. Can play DE or could move inside and be a 3-tech. Another big/athletic guy.

DL-Solomon Kelly-Coral Springs Charter-Legit 6'6 maybe 6'7, 230 pounds. He is a former basketball player. RAW, but the physical talent is going to draw some schools his way.

LB-Richard Yeargin-Chaminade-Maybe the biggest riser on the board. 6'3 and could end up 240 in college if not bigger. He is a big linebacker/end who can run. Very impressive and will have a ton of BCS offers.

DB-Nicholas Richardson-Saint Thomas-Will get some pub after this season. Another big safety who can run.

DB-Quincy Wilson-University-VERY VERY, VERY GOOD player right now. He has gotten bigger and stronger since we first met him a year ago. He could end up a top safety in the country. Miami should have a great shot at him since his father went to UM.

DB-Jonnah Cunningham-Hollywood Hills-Another under the radar safety. Has size (6'1+). Will knock the snot out of you.

DB-Al Harris-Saint Thomas-May end up the top cover CB in Broward next year. Dad played in NFL...Has pedigree.

DB-Deon Holliman-Cypress Bay-CB/Safety prospect. Similar build to Deon Bush coming out. Similar type player.

DB-Isaiah McKenzie-Am. Her. Plantation-Not real big but a good player. May be part of one of the best secondary's in Broward County this year.

Ath.-Brandon Powell-Deerfield Beach- FAST....FAST, ANOTHER GEAR FAST. He shined at the FSU camp....Biggest drawback is his size (5'8-5'9). He is going to test out very well at Miami camp next summer. He has the goods...Kid is Deerfield Beach best prospect since D. Robinson.

Gotta say I agree with you, Pete. 2014 S/KR Marquese Dudley-Gordon (6'0, 180, 4.4) is a monster. And his recruitment is picking up.

I've seen him play multiple times. Very instinctual safety and is a difference maker in the return game.

Very humble, soft-spoken young man. Last time I talked to him, he told me he's hearing from LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Oregon, UCLA, Georgia Tech, FSU and Clemson, just to name a few. Wish Miami was hard on him, but they haven't been eliminated yet despite the luke-warm recruitment.

I also like his teammate, CB Deion Hallmon (6'0, 166, 4.46). Son of Jack Hallmon. Miami is recruiting Deion.
