Don't buy it. Kidd isn't some 5'8" 160 lb joke. Any time some kid at Navy or Air Force(most would be walkons at a high level BCS school) makes a play does that become a referendum on the defense they are playing? Our defense sucked last year. Kidd making a play doesn't prove anything one way or the other.

If Kidd or golden's nephew ever get into a game on offense we better be up by 50 with 2 minutes to go.
Walk ons are great stories but do you really want to see Kidd playing any meaningful offensive rep instead of Dorsett, Scott, Hurns, Waters, Lewis, Coley or even a 4th string guy like D'mauri Jones?

i seen the kid in the spring...walk right next to him...kid is just solid..it isnt fat. He is a kid u redshirt ....just cause...i think he is "ready" to play..but i'd shirt hium because i have a little faith in Cleveland...i know what Walford could do...and Sandland showed me enough in the spring to get pt.
Dobard blocked real well in spring....and kid generally seems to like it in miami...seen him at the Youth Fair with Herb Waters who was taller than i thought...he is atleast 6'1.

Kidd is a kid that would log time on some bcs rosters so im going to go in on him....he sees the field also on specials...Look @ Fentress...that dude is a heat seeking missile even @ safety in spring where he flashed to me more than guy s like AJ Highsmith.
Is Tolson still on the roster..?? That dude was blowing sh*t up.
Were going to play @ least 5-8 walk ons this yr on specials.

Deandre Johnson could challenge Edwards/Dillard for the #3 spot, possibly Crawford/Clements for #2. A nice pick up for Miami, he runs hard and has D1 program experience.
Anyone knocking Garret Kidd is a fool. He runs very good routes w/ solid hands. Guys like that are a blessing for scholarship DBs in practice.

Kidd making plays against the defense is not really a referendum on him OR the defense.

Cover 2. Kidd was in the slot. Ran a corner route and beat Jenkins for a TD. Rayshawn looked like he was in quick sand.
Vanilla or not, that **** walk-on seems to make far too many plays against our starting defense. Maybe he's legit or something. *shrugs* If walk-ons making plays on our defense every spring doesn't make you nervous then good for you.
