The team is markedly better than last year.

It’s still not nearly good enough. 5 losses (6?) with this schedule is unacceptable, I don’t care how close they were.

So is the team better? Of course. If it improves again next year as much as it improved from last year to this year, should it be a 10 win team, or thereabouts? Yes. But that’s a lotta “if’s”. Bottom line is we’re 2 years into this and you’re still nowhere close to where you gotta be.
