I just don’t think it makes sense to have him guard WR1 all game and then have to go against an opposing DB1 on the other side (assuming they have him playing both ways). But that’s just me speculating.

if we didn't make Daniel Calhoun's top 5 then how did we lose head to head to UGA?

are you not going to include the ones where we got from them that they offered?

Because we recruited him. Head to head means we both aggressively recruited the player. Not that we both ended up in the Top 3 or Top 5.

My bad, I forgot about Carr, he came after I created the list and I forgot to update it. I had a gut feeling it wasn't as bad as it appeared, but the point of the thread is to eliminate gut feels, LOL.

yeah, okay but where's the cutoff and why does it only count when they get recruits that we recruited and not when we get recruits that they wanted?

Blount, trader, Scott, robinson, patterson, hayes, jones, lyle, Pickett, Robinson, Rudolph were all recruited by UGA - I'm sure several others were as well

not trying to give you a hard time, but just trying to understand, I didn't follow 24 class as much early in the cycle but I didn't even hear about Bowens, Daniels, Harrison, Heinrich, jones so I feel like giving us an F because they went to UGA and not crediting the staff for landing several people over UGA isn't consistent

maybe would be more relevant for players that OV'd to us

UGA has been cornering the market on DB’s this whole time.

It’s been difficult for Miami to make inroads on kids UGA is prioritizing in the defensive backfield.

Corch Boom and Kirby Smart are ace DB recruiters

Added Cole. Leaving this as a B because Hayes was always #1 on our board according to various insiders. If we didn't flip Hayes, the loss of Cole could've dropped this to B- or C+
