Because you're going to lose some battles against the upper echelon teams.

But when you go 6 for 8, that is A territory. Especially when you have O$U fans whining that if it wasn't for Miami flipping so many of their key recruits, they'd have the #1 or #2 class.

Will HowardO$UWas option 1B for Miami, refused to commit. Likely cause he was a silent to O$U who threw their existing QBs under the bus by hiding the news until the portal closed.
