I don't see Winston's draft status falling at all. kid is a lock top 5 pick, if not #1 overall.

He won't even be the first QB taken. That will have nothing to do with with his off the field stuff.

Yup. All FSU hatred and bias aside, I thought this from the first time he was interviewed and it's only increased. Not taking anything away from his obvious insane football talent, but I would be very concerned about drafting him in the NFL. He has epic flameout written all over him. (pun?)

You could be right. NFL doesn't really care about this stuff anyway, BUT this year they are on their heals and bailing water with all hands because of the Rice video. Got new committee of female male haters sharping knives. They care about $$ and some sponsors are making noise. More players will be suspended and maybe kicked out for abuse. GMs and coaches will at least think twice about the investment and risk of wasting it on a crazed dude like this at QB. We are not talking about defensive guy, who are all a little crazy just to be any good, we are talking face of franchise QB. Risk/reward issue. Can we win a Super Bowl with him BEFORE he gets caught on video raping another drugged up woman?

If he was "Joe Football" playing at "Football U," wouldn't coach of said nameless team have to suspend him for a game?
That coach would likely say that "this behavior isn't going to be tolerated" or "this isn't what our team is all about." etc.
 
I can't imagine the media shizstorm if one of our guys were to alleged to have done anything remotely close to the crap Winston has been accused or admitted to have done.

Didn't Fisher say that Crablegs served his suspension while on the baseball team? LOL This is what we're dealing with folks. A team, school and city that will keep bending, breaking and smashing the rules so that they can protect their embarrassment of a football player. Does the school and fans even realize how ridiculous they look and how much they are mocked?

He is a weird guy. He's just happens to be in a place that doesn't care, as long as he wins football games.

BREAKING NEWS Florida State QB Jameis Winston will be suspended for the first half vs. Clemson on Saturday for yelling obscenities at a FSU campus student union.

FSU will win this game. Winston has had few bad games vs better opponents and they still win .. so unless in the first half their QB throws 4 pic six's.


that being said.. Winston has proven time and time again that he is the biggest dbag, jackass and creep in college football.

for those of you think that this won't effect his draft stock think again.

1. he is not having a killer year like he was last year
2. he has been in the news more for his bs then his football play on the field
3. after all that has happened with the NFL last few months.. Winston is the exact type of players teams worry about


we just went form #1-2pick to #5-7

and if he doesn't have a "solid" season he will drop below 10th pick

It's a big deal in the wake of the ray rice and AP situations. But by the time the draft rolls around, there will be other issues in the headlines.

That said, the kid's lack of judgment and arrogance are mind boggling.
 
Means nothing. If FSU really meant "disciplining" their player. It would be at least one or two games. This is just makeup and lip stick on a bearded lady. All this does is give Crablegs more time to wrap that turban around his head while waiting his turn.
