Venting on a mostly-anonymous message board is one thing, but actually going out and bleeding all over social media is pretty pathetic IMO

I live in Louisiana and we have had our run ins with Hurricanes and the rain that comes from them, and right now it's best for the ppl of FL to take cover.. "GET THE F' OUT OF DODGE"!! I guarantee all the ppl complaining about Miami not playing football is not living in FL.. When times like this comes around, ppl will think family first and the **** with football!! How can these players leave and go play a football game in Arkansas and be totally focus, when some know they have family that has no way of escaping this Hurricane, Because once they are out of Miami these players won't be coming straight back home.. And for some it's family first, and I think it's best that the game is cancelled, THERE IS MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO FOCUS ON RIGHT NOW, AND ARKANSAS STATE IS ONE OF THEM!!

I don't think they should have canceled the Arkansas St game, and I've said as much on here in no unclear terms.
But there's a HUGE LINE between speaking an opinion on a Canes message board and tweeting stupid **** at a coach or player.

First of all, if you really have to tweet at anyone, tweet at BLAKE JAMES. The athletic department made this decision, not the coaches and certainly not the players.
It's the guys in the suits you should be mad at, not the players. The players would have gone to Arkansas if they were asked to. They're just doing what they were instructed to do.

I would be willing to bet they would have moved their practices and kept going. I personally can't imagine Saban or Alabama just calling off football for an entire week or more.

Arky St. offered to provide housing and practice facilities for our team in the event that they were stranded in Ark.
Oh, I know we "could" stay in Atlanta or Memphis or Alabama, but our school had the foresight to allow our players and coaches to stay in Miami to be with families, get out of town, whatever they need to do.
In Jonesboro, Ark? That's like the seventh level of ****.

Yeah, I know we "could" have spent a week in Arkansas, but keeping coaches and players away from town while their homes and families face catastrophic conditions is pretty stupid and is the kind of thing that CanesInsight posters would come up with.
