People are failing to realize nobody gives a **** about football right now.
i know you're a troll, but show some empathy where many fans on this board and the team, itself, have many concerns and fears about what's coming. no one gives a **** about watching a game right now. the only thing being watched is the track of this storm as me and others here do not want to lose everything we own.
Some Georgia fans loved Mark Richt because he held some things up as "bigger than football" - family, community values, keeping a clean program.
Other Georgia fans hated Mark Richt because they said he had other priorities ahead of football. They said he didn't have the fire, the drive, the savagery to win when it really counted.
I think we'll see Miami fans divided on the same lines, especially if they lose the FSU game. Would be just another example of Richt losing a big game because he had something else he valued more than winning. Some people will love him for it, others will resent him.

no real miami fans give a **** bout their lives, homes, and families over a game. this has nothing to do with richt and more to do with people sharing the same situation with the coming storms. NO ONE GIVES A **** BOUT THIS GAME>

I love to watch and rewatch the games as much as anyone but **** man, come on. I'm going to leave my children, parents, and other loved ones with this forecast (basically destroyed an entire island earlier) and your telling me we are going to stay in Memphis if we can't make it back? Nah.

I would definitely not extrapolate this to the entire fan base. You're just seeing that here from a few posters. Not seeeing it elsewhere.
Obviously, a great deal of our fanbase, is clueless as to what a cat 4, or 5 hurricane is. To put this storm in perspective....if the saffir Simpson scale went this high..this storm would be borderline cat 7!! This ain't a little rainstorm!! And right now, the only portion of football that matters, is the players, coaches, and families safety! But sure...while you've never seen a hurricane,.. And don't live anywhere near here, keep telling us how we should be playing football while home and family, down here in south Florida is being laid waste by mother nature!!

Wait til the FSU game is postponed. Which is a stone cold lock at this point.
You're looking at what amounts to about 2% of our fanbase. Just look at Twitter, basically the people calling out our players are Gators, Ark St morons, and a handful of Miami idiots.

Because one is team and staff roughly 20 people the other is 130 plus. The housing options are nowhere near the same. Unfortunately we don't have traveling hotels that come everywhere with us. It's absurd we gotta justify canceling this game to our own fan base. This is real life. ***** a game.
