Multiple sources say that the Miami program will be sending a group of more than 30 players to Orlando tomorrow night in advance of Hurricane Irma. This is for the remaining group of players who are not staying locally with family or otherwise.
Grandma lived a long lifeWill the FSU game be postponed? Seems like we won't have any practice time?
Family and safety come first obviously but I don't think it would be a good idea to go to fsu with only like one or two pregame practices.
Nothing about the situation is ideal. But what else can they do?
Be in Arkansas playing a game....
As if their heads would be in the game instead of back home worrying about family and friends
These ****ers don't get it. They want their football no matter if grandma is getting washed out to sea.

Pete with his typical beat around the bush talk.
What are you talking about?
Hey Pete, what do u think is going to happen with practices, the FSU game etc. Will they potentially cancel the game?
I literally have no idea and neither does anybody else.

Some Georgia fans loved Mark Richt because he held some things up as "bigger than football" - family, community values, keeping a clean program.
Other Georgia fans hated Mark Richt because they said he had other priorities ahead of football. They said he didn't have the fire, the drive, the savagery to win when it really counted.
I think we'll see Miami fans divided on the same lines, especially if they lose the FSU game. Would be just another example of Richt losing a big game because he had something else he valued more than winning. Some people will love him for it, others will resent him.

no real miami fans give a **** bout their lives, homes, and families over a game. this has nothing to do with richt and more to do with people sharing the same situation with the coming storms. NO ONE GIVES A **** BOUT THIS GAME>
There is something weird going on here. Why would Blake James agree to cancel the game this week and "keep" the football players in SoFla, but allow the Basketball team and staff to get out of dodge and camp out in Atlanta for the Hurricane? Why wouldn't all sport teams from UM execute the same plan? whether the plan is to stay put or pull chalks to another location where it would be safer.

People are failing to realize nobody gives a **** about football right now.
Not a good look by our fan base right now. Just wow. SMH

Wait til the FSU game is postponed. Which is a stone cold lock at this point.
