What happened? Fast and a Beast, but only lasted a year? Something gives. If he couldn't cut it there ten maybe he's not all that.

Don't need a transfer WR unless he was a solid vet who could play this year. No need to add some cumbum who can't play till next year when we'll be loading up like banshees next year with monster WR recruits.

We don't really need him, but he should make somebody a good receiver. John Diarse transferring from LSU to TCU should tear it up once eligible. Quinn will put up numbers when he has a QB that can do more than throw it up for grabs.

Is he transferring because of the budget crisis in Louisiana is shrinking the football player payroll?

Fast forward: transfers to Duke or UNC, finishes career with 3 receiving and 1 punt return touchdown against us.

Is he transferring because of the budget crisis in Louisiana is shrinking the football player payroll?

Mostly that is privately funded--businessmen and such. Usually lump sums, in kind compensation (cars, trips, blondes)--not wages as a regular payroll would suggest.

Bad economy affects private sources as well, so true downturn affects player funding.

Does Louisiana have an income tax? If so should consider tax credits for player comp.
