This is ridiculous and the more it happens, the more any players who weren't starters OR who play a position that was upgraded in the portal will start to feel like transferring is what they should do, or what a lot of other players in their situation would do. Players follow this stuff and it's obvious nothing except clicks and profit are being taken into account when writing these kinds of articles.

People need to realize once the clock strikes 12 and the portal is open every player on your team is now a portal player. The saying "our own players" doesn't exist anymore the way it used to. There is no difference between high school recruits and portal recruits there all year to year rentals that you have to renew or acquire.

BS ...im sure people thought po po wasn't going anywhere until it happened. There's probably a bunch of others on our team we had to fight to keep like Justin Scott , Fitzgerald etc. It's just there's no announcement and it doesn't get out
