Miami is just going to let a 20 sack recruit just leave and go to South Carolina. Not only that but he's also a early enrollee smh. Keir Thomas should have been in this class.

Agree. But we don't need a guy that is a pure football player that can get to the quarterback because he is "undersized." This one will come back to haunt us.

It's amazing isn't it? I mean, there's no other possible reason for a kid leaving town than that we LET him.

Maybe its cause they remember players like Marcus Robinson from homestead that had a zillion sacks in high school then looked like a midget at Miami. Like Mike Smith does now at UM. Tiny DEs don't do much in college. For every Von Miller type, you can probably point to 20 that didn't make it. Its a bit different going up against guys the size of Ereck Flowers than against a kid named Jose from homestead high that weighs 245 as on OL.
 
OP cry me a river...Another thread about someone who will haunted us. How's Keif doing at Fsu... I know I missed Valentine killing it for lsu in the bowl game.

Possible. Or maybe he wants to see a different town. Maybe he's sick of the weather. Maybe he wants to get away from his family. Maybe he wants to play for a specific coach. Maybe he wants to play in a specific system. Maybe he wants to start early. Maybe he wants the chance to redshirt without too much pressure. Maybe he wants to play for a team that's got a better record the last few years. Maybe his girlfriend is going to a different school. Maybe he thinks orange makes him look fat. Maybe he likes another school's locker rooms better. Maybe somebody handed him a bag of cash. Maybe somebody threatened his little sister if he didn't go to another school.
 
Mike Smith and Terry McCray were 20 sack guys too.. Im not going to complain bc Richt could be going after bigger fish.. I'm not too worried bc Richt knows what he's doing and goes after top guys...

I see this possibly being a recurring theme were guys are upset about 3-star Miami guys being passed up for 4 or 5 Star guys Richt thinks he can land.

If you want to continue to win 8 games per year, keep recruiting kids like Harris and Keir Thomas.
 
Von Miller is a 6'3" 250 pound LB who ran a 4.53 at the NFL combine with a 37 inch vert.

Please don't ever compare a HS kid to Von Miller. Players like Miller come along once every 5 years.

Miller is an absolutle physical freak.

If you want and average football team, use one of your limited scholarship numbers on a kid like this.
