Would you still take Corch Furst?

He’s making a mistake by trying to implement a spread offense based on speed. He won’t be able to get the necessary athletes at Nebraska. The only way they will win big again is by mimicking what is being done at Wisconsin. Load up on corn fed offensive lineman and focus on pounding teams with the run. I definitely would take him at UM though because his system would be a perfect fit.

You mean what they did for nearly 100 years, until they hired Bill Callahan?

He is very good and he came into a HUGE rebuild situation. He has a school land locked in a state with almost NO 4 star talent and barely any 3 or 2 stars. All of the quality players have to come from out of state, which is a different thing to deal with in 2019 than it used to be. He's legit, I just don't know if he can compile enough physically talented players to seriously compete in the B10.

That's what you say about the IMMENSE rebuild project in that Hinterland CornSUCKER small-town Capital town! And now for some news. The VAST MAJORITY of those hayseed CornSUCKER good ol' boys, and their PROPAGANDA state sports media, were opening their big mouths, and yapping about how their BELOVED CornSUCKERS were going to finish either " 9-3 or FREAKIN' 10-2 " this season. Now that's fresh. hUh

Well, Wisconsin is going to roll into small-town and BYTCH SLAP those Cornysuckers! And there will probably a few more conference losses down the high plains highways. hUh

The bottom line is Colorado and Miami put CornSUCKER football in a deep, deep grave back in 2001. And CornSUCKER football can no longer see the light of day!:)

P.S. That CornSUCKER football team ( Nebraska didn't even win the Big 12 championship. Go figure. ) should have NEVER played Miami in the Rose Bowl. Either Colorado or the mighy Ducks DESERVED to be in that NC game. Nevertheless, that's all moot now. hUh

I will give the Cornhusker fans credit though. They sell out games even when they suck. Then again what the **** is there to do in Omaha?

At least CornSUCKER dudes and gals have " women's volley ball " to feel good about. Because their men's basketball team and beloved CornSucker's S-U-C-K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The gimmick stuff that works at Ucf won’t work at Nebraska against teams with more talent. Copying Wisconsin is the only way they will win consistently. Scott needs to adjust. But man they were horrible last night

I posted early last week that the CornSUCKERS suck! I even said to lay the points. Because the game would be over at half-time, too. More so, I posted that Mr. Mel Kyper, Jr. said the Buckeyes have FOUR LEGITIMATE 1st Round selections on defense! Heck, Mel didn't even mention the NFL talent on offense. Get outta' here!

And, at least one lone Cane immediately posted that he LAYED the points and predicted the CornSUCKERS would lose by at least " 28 points! " LMFAO:giggle:

Again, beating a dead Herbie Cornhusker doll. I still DON'T know what the national media saw in that Nebraska program. Other than their loyal dense good ol' boy and good ol' girl fan base. Early bird Top 25 in ALL of the college football magazines and what not ( Coming off BACK TO BACK 4-8 seasons! ). Now that's fresh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's still a chance to finish in the Top 25.

Omaha produced Warren Buffett. Miami produced who....the tomato guy?

If you knew what the rest of the country thought of Miami, you wouldn’t puff your chest quite so much. Miami is basically Cancun with worse food and more crime.
I am actually considering moving to Omaha. Strong economy and lower cost of living. Let me puff my CIS chest some more for you.

Corch Scort Furst was a hot name when he took the Nebraska job. He hasn’t been able to get the same quick results he put together at UcF.

Would you still take him at the U?
Ill take Clawson before Frost, but still on the Mike Leach wagon

Is that the boxer from Omaha? I don't follow boxing at all these days. I'm old school. Ali, Smokin' Joe, Sugar Ray and Tyson, for example. Those pugilist are from my generation. huh
Yeah he's an elite fighter. He's up there with Errol Spence. Sugar Ray, Duran, Hearns, Hagler, what a golden era of welterweights and middleweights. I grew up watching Pernel "Sweet Pea" Whittaker, Oscar De La Hoya, and Felix Trinidad. I caught Tyson at the end of career, with Lennox Lewis being the man to beat at Heavyweight.
