100% worse. The schedule will host the best in the conference from both Divisions. No other team will face that probably ever in ACC play. We should still win though. Given recruiting and roster talent, scheduling for this conference should be no excuse!
The ACC football schedule format has been set for the 2023 through 2026 seasons, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Now, we have to expect and not be shocked by this. The ACC, nor does college football really want Miami to be the Alabama, now Georgia of college football, just enough notoriety for the $$$.
Look at how the ACC miraculously gives VA Tech and Pitt easy roads to the ACCG with consistent games against Wake (not counting these last 2yrs), BC, and SYR year in and out. I cannot remember the last time VT played FSU (when they were good) and Clemson, and when they did it was conveniently right after a down year.
Either way, others may have a strongly differing opinion, but it's no shock that we will get the toughest conference schedule, the desire to keep everything on "Tobacco Road" or with its close adjacents is strong.
