Would Golden ever fire Mark D'Onofrio?

Best way to get rid of Golden would be to fire Onofrio (get's his D back when he fields one). If Golden quits he loses his buy out.

Golden wont quit. They will see the writing on the wall. If his defense ***** the bed this year, I agree with Ghost, he's going to "move on to other opportunities". I think the AD will basically tell him, were going to fire him unless he "moves on". AG can ***** all he wants, but unless he is going to walk, and lose his buy out, he wont have much leverage. And lets face it, if he has another mediocre year, Golden's "leverage" is gone. No one in Coral Gables is going to be losing sleep over the possibility of him "walking". Another disaster on defense, and NoD will be gone one way or the other.
 
If Golden fires Dorito now, to save himself, he is worse than I think (ewhich says a lot). That means he intentionally wasted four season of Miami football to hook up his buddy.


Of course, if he doesn't fire Dorito, he is just as bad.

Either way, send the entire staff packing, NOW!
 
If the defense improves at all from last year golden will say I TOLD YOU. we are trending up. He will find a reason to keep him here

The day Dorito turned down Temple, we became screwed. This love affair is bigger than exes and ohs. Only jail can seperate these two luv birds. Al will never fire this man.

I agree. However, I would think he'll be given the option to stay and bring in someone completely foreign to run the defense.

If golden needs to be told to find a new DC then golden isn't fit to be a HC.

If he unwillingly replaced the DC he no longer has full control of the team. Then we are even more fractured and should just start over. (Which is what we need to do anyway)
 
Right now I would rather he fired Kehoe first, and Coley second... that is the better thread here!!

no..more likely to see Ray Rice play on the NFL this season than this ever happening. ****** pathetic if you ask me
