A bit harsh, especially considering their coaches appear to be as underwhelming as their own players' performances. That seems to be becoming a bit of a trend as of late. Players that have underperformed at UM that go on to the league and have decent careers. UM use to be a place where guys were groomed for the NFL.

Yeah, pretty awful joke. And yes, we'll miss St. Louis. He's not great, but if he's playing right now then how can you assume the kid behind him will be better?

And he'll play in the NFL. He's got size and athleticism. Just poorly coached. The others, no.

Gauthier and St.Louis have been really poorly coached

Gauthier had the potential to be a stud C and he's gotten way worse under Searles

Be careful what you wish for, in particular on the offensive line, as their backups will be the starters next year. If I have to explain why that could be problematic, I don't know what to tell you.

Congratulations though on a cleverly disguised backhand at our soon to be graduates. They can't all be stars, but they're all still Canes who should be afforded some respect as their careers wind down.

I don’t think the kids are are a problem. They have all been victims of the same incompetence and undercoaching were all complaining about. Rosier is, well, Rosier. But even he could have been milked for more with a competent QB Coach. We need to thank them and appreciate them as we should all future kids who come to the program. We are just demanding better coaching, especially at 4 million a year.

They are problematic with their play as it currently is. I dont Think it can get worse. Plus we’ve seen this staff this year choose to play less talented kids because they are more experienced at multiple positions so it isn’t inconceivable that that’s happening on oline too
