Yikes.
Took that dude one game to do what Golden couldn't do to No'D over multiple seasons.
Call me crazy, but I'm actually not sure Golden was that bad of a coach. Loyalty was his downfall. If he had quickly replaced No'D, he might have been Miami's coach much longer. And, yes, I'd have a beer with him in a heartbeat.Al Golden was in his own world. Yeah, he looked after his friends and covered for his players. Kinda earns some respect from me, in a weird way.
Yet, that's what got him fired. Was a hella crappy coach, but I would have a brew with the dude.

Golden wasn't all bad. That defence on the other hand, WAS all bad. Everyone just gave up by the end.Call me crazy, but I'm actually not sure Golden was that bad of a coach. Loyalty was his downfall. Nah, not making excuses. Golden at Miami was an unmitigated disaster. Period. I'm just throwing out a hot take that the reason for that may not have been that he sucks as a coach. Or maybe he does. LOLGolden was awful. No excuses for him.
There has got to be a story behind the firing.
i always confuse Julius Peppers and Pepper Johnson.Wasn't he of ex Giant fame ? haven't heard that name in years. I am ******* old.
