"Win and were in" is assuming we jump Bama.

There are obvious scenarios where we make the playoff if we win, ie : Wisconsin loss or Oklahoma loss.

But right now if the top three win out and we beat Clemson close, we still need to jump a one-loss bama. I just dont see the committee doing that.

I think the narrative will become "Alabama has a better loss than Miami" rather than "Miami has better wins than Alabama." Especially with this Hocutt ****** running the show.

Yeah, i know, 16 year old puppet, pimple pete, probably said win and were in, but i honestly think this dude will say anything the University tells him to say.

smh. I'll make this easy for you. One of their main criteria is a conference championship. Miami will have one, Alabama will not. Miami will also have 2 wins better than Alabama's best. Win and in

We are really only only one spot behind Bama right now (either Georgia or Auburn have to lose and drop)

Generally speaking, beating the number 1 team in the country will make you jump one team in front of you.

This is absolute garbage. The rankings come out week by week, they don't project to the "what if's". They have no reason to place Miami above Bama UNTIL after this next game. Once the games are played, then the committee will do their reshuffle, if necessary.

Miami will now have the added value of having beat Clemson now on their resume. Once that happens the committee will be able to factor that into their decision. I would also have Bama ranked ahead of Miami this week. They pass the eye ball test compared to Miami. That can all change late Saturday night.

Please stop. Not just OP but everyone... please stop.

An 11-1 ACC champion is NOT going to get left out of the playoff.

Do u realize Clemson is #1 today? No ACC champ is getting left out. Period. If Bama was so highly rated they would be above Wisconsin

Use that orange tie to make your fat face turn purple.

Note to the new trolling turds: Don’t go so hard where you get obvious. It’s a bad look. Go study the master, Rok’s, unrivaled craftsmanship.

2.5/10 Troll Job.
Right off the bat you hit us with a grammatical error in your title. Might be a typographical error, or you might be a choad. Not sure at this point, but either way it's a bad start.

Good use of the word "we" throughout the OP. Excellent way to sucker the novices and gullible people into believing you actually care about UM football.

You went for the jugular with the Alabaga slurping in the second sentence of your OP. This is a lazy mistake. Imagine you are with your boyfriend at home. Do you appreciate it when he spits on his hand and rams it in there? Probably not, right. Employ the same light touch and build up here.

Solid use of the "media bias" narrative and playing on UM fans' (rightly earned) persecution complex. But again, too soon and lazily used. Had you slow-played this point and added some support from the regular anti-UM talking heads this would have played on our fears and helped hide your trolling. The ad hominem attack on our former AD (who ran out of town like a jackal) was a heavy-handed and awkward transition, which again lacked nuance and fell flat.

Finishing your OP by awkwardly calling Pete's knowledge into question and again resorting to personal attacks was way over the top. At this point, even most gullible or inexperienced CISers would know this is a foolishly conceived and poorly executed troll job.

Another mistaken use of the word "were" when clearly you meant to use the contraction "we are" to end the post just confirms (as the final nail in the coffin) you are a slob hiding behind a keyboard in his mother's basement.

Try harder next time, or maybe find another outlet.

Well, one thing that makes me feel better is we DID jump from 7 to 3 after beating ND. Why would beating Clemson get us any less? Now, Alabama winning out would have been better, but how in the world can you beat the #1 team in the country and NOT be put into the top 4?

The big bonus in beating Clemson is that Clemson beat Auburn, who beat Bama. They would have NO excuse to put Bama ahead of Miami if we beat Clemson. Zero. We'd have the same record, and far better wins.

That being said, there has been far more talk about quality losses now that Bama has the best one. Forget the fact they lost to the only good team they played. If Miami wins and we don't make it in, then the whole system needs to be burned down.

Stfu with that nonsense... if we beat clemson we would have 3 wins better than their best win, while having a stronger strength of schedule
