Willis McGahee reunited with Chudzinski?

I understand why the Browns made the move, I also believe if they give Chud 3-4 years he will turn them into a good team. Now the Browns have 7 picks in the first four rounds next year, they can build that OL.

They need some help on the OL, DT and possibly a QB. They need a lot of help and Richardson (good or bad) cannot block for himself. When you need a lot of quality starters, the luxury of a first round RB (who has some injuries) might be something they can't afford.

The Browns clearly are going to be building for the future and will get a top 5 pick. So now they have:

First Round: Their pick (probably top 5) and Colt's pick (Possibly #22)
Second Round: Their pick
Third Round: Their pick and Steeler's pick
Fourth Round: Their pick and Colt's pick

That top 5 pick might be someone like Sammy Watkins. However, they need a QB to either develop or grab a new one. D, I know he's someone you liked somewhat, but that Weeden pick was questionable. People fell in love with his arm, size and what he was doing in a ****show Big 12. He's often awkward in the pocket and his anticipation is all over the place - often either too early or too late. Anyone think he gets it together?

I would not draft Sammy Watkins if I were Cleveland, he won't help the franchise as much as an OL IMO. If the Browns get the #1 Pick, perhaps they may need to trade it in order to build picks. The Rams have 2 picks in the first round, just something to consider.

As for the Browns and their QB, not sure if Weeden is the guy. He is 30 and it's not like Chud drafted him. Perhaps, if Chud thinks he can use Weeden for the next 2-3 years, they draft a project or someone who will be available after the 1st Round (Fales, McCarron, Morris etc.).

They're not going to replace Joe Thomas, and I don't think you take an interior OL or even a RT (though more plausible) #1, #2 or #3 overall.

That is why I said perhaps to trade in order to build picks. They need a few OL, Joe Thomas is a stud and he is still under K (they don't need to replace him like you said), so perhaps they trade down for more picks.

If they land a top pick, perhaps they can pull a trade like Robert Griffin III to get more players. I really think it depends on what Chud thinks of Weeden and the rest of the QB Board.

I was impressed with Bradshaw last week. Also, Ballard will be back next year. Seems like the Colts should have been the team to sign McGahee. I would have never made this trade if I were Indianapolis. Much better off using that first to get Luck a young WR to pair with Wayne, who isnt going to be around forever.

sitting at 9416 all purpose yards and 68 career touchdowns. I would love to see him hit 10k APY and 75 TD, based on a quick glance at pro football reference,
he is in a pretty good class (the 10/75 club), only 54 strong to date in nfl history, if he can get there.

I think the Browns are going for a QB depending on how hoyer turns out, and then a toss up between the best rb or d lineman available.

So they traded a RB who may thought was the best available, to potentially get a RB who could be the best available?

They need OL and DT, I agree there. The got a bunch of DEs and just signed Kruger Industrial Smoothing.

Yes, Trent Richardson might not be what they are looking for. There was a breakdown on NFL live and I'm sure all over the internet this week on how many times he had gaping wholes this past weekend and managed absolutely nothing in return. I'm not saying they would get a rb, but I think they could definitely find a better one if they were to burn a #3 pick. Richardson was drafted way too high in my opinion, and i believe that is also the opinion of the new GM there. They will probably try to go for Clowney if they get high enough of a pick, or Bridgewater.

Along with McGahee, a few more quality years from A. Johnson, Gore and Moss and they will be in there with him. Would be nice to see 4 more Canes added to this category.
