Isn’t Michael Johnson Sr. A WR coach? And isn’t it reported he’s following him to FSU?

I don't think it's reported, but I do think he's going. I really think Dugans has been offered the OC position at FSU.

Newberg is saying that Taggart will be the HC/OC/QB coach... he wants one voice to the QBs.... So if that's truly the case, it would probably be a lateral move for Dugans as WR Coach. unless he throws that infamous "Asst HC" title in there

He also said that ole willie wasn't in Miami yesterday either. Could be smoke, but what he said about Dugans already being on willies staff previously so he wouldn't need to interview did make sense. However make lets not mistake what this job is. It's a lateral move even if he gets the OC title. Just ask James Coley what a fake OC title did for him? Besides being given a more significant raise then miami can match i don't see the move.

He won't get to call plays, his daughter is enrolled in school at UM and dating DeeJay so she probably isn't transferring, his wife likes the city, he probably has a better work/life balance than most coaches becuase that is something CMR values. Unless he is being offered like 30-40% more $$$ than what UM is willing to counter offer then i just don't see why he would make the move. Getting a title in name only carries risks, but maybe it sets him up for the next play calling OC position, which in that case he would be leaving the school in lower bama very soon, but he could easily wait for a G5 play calling OC job to open just as easily at UM as we would be doing in trailerhas

Is he really a good WR coach? I mean sure we blocked well but what about everything else?

I don't think people believe just how true it is. I watched games and just picked a WR pre snap that I thought would be open and sure enough the dude was open. JT was my go to guy. Guy wasn't open seldomly. The others I watched usually were open and quickly too. If you choose a WR pre snap and just watch them you'll see how many were open.
