Will winning teams outside the SEC get any respect?

I live in Texas so I hear it all the time.
TCU is a very very good team. I was at Buffalo Wilds Wings over hearing a TCU fan talking about how good they are. Yet I hear other fans say they wouldn't do that great in the SEC.

It seems like if your a good team outside the SEC. SEC fans will find a way to rain on your parade. If TCU wins the national title all we are going to hear is that they did not earn they're way, and they would've had 3 losses in the SEC west.

If sad *** l$u would have won, alabama would be out as well as auburn. miss st has to beat alabama.

SEC only one a handful of titles from 81 to 2005

Bama 93, UF 96, Tenn 98 LSU 03

This stuff goes in cycles I bet SEC wins like 3 of the next 10 titles and maybe two years gets more then one team in the playoff

SEC dominance pre 2005 consisted of beating Big 10 teams….Miami/FSU/NEB routinely beat up SEC teams before they hit a hot stretch

I don't expect Bama to be ranked ahead of Oregon (Unless Utah wins, which they still might), because they would be getting similar wins (against #16 and #17). But, TCU could very easily jump Bama or Oregon. TCU has a very good loss to Baylor, a top 7 team after this week, and a win against KST.

IF Bama loses next week to Miss St, Auburn and them are likely both eliminated from playoffs (they also play each other).
Pac 12 champ will be in Playoff, bcuz will be Oregon vs ASU in championship game. BIG 12 Champ (Baylor or TCU) will be in playoff. The SEC champ will be in. ACC's only hope is FSU going undefeated; if they have 1 loss, another SEC team gets in.
-This seems pretty even to me. And SEC fans can't say the national Champion didn't earn it, because they literally had a playoff to decide it. Whatever team wins, proves they earn it.

Rather see our brothers from Tallahassee in the playoff than Bama or MSU, I bet.

Cool, cool.

I'd rather MSU lose to Bama and then lose again to Ole Miss. Follow that up with Bama losing to Auburn and I'd be happy as a pig in slop.

I'd love to see the entire SEC West hierarchy with two losses and watch the ESPN try to explain to us why all of them deserve inclusion in the playoff.

TCU SHOULD jump the sister ****ers, but lets see just how biased this system really is.

Next year will be an 8 team playoff. The power 5 champs and 3 at large teams. Easier to sneak Bama in with 2 losses.

They have too, can't put a two loss SEC team over another power 5 conference team with one loss.

Auburn lost at home to A&M, A&M almost lost last week, at home, to Louisiana-Monroe and the "projected polls" are going to put Auburn at 9 or 10. The benefits of losing to another mighty $Ec team

It's ok for the $Ec to lose to each other - they all have $Ec type players

Perfect scenario...

I won't argue with on the field results. No arguing the SEC is the best conference, but I can bet you that Bama wants no part of Oregon. Plus Bama will be done after Auburn beats them.

I'll suck my own elbow.

TCU is a 2-3 loss team if they play in the SEC West. Orygun, FSU, too.

And I like TCU and Orygun.
