Will this team be ranked in the top 10 Nov. 9th?

Who cares where we're ranked. Rankings only mean anything if you're a playoff hopeful. Only path to the playoff is 11-1 and beating Clemson.

If we were to win out almost all other teams in the top 15 will have 1 loss...likely a few with 2 losses. I know our schedule isn't looking strong but will have beaten FSU and VT on the road...something top be said about undefeated in conference play as well. So I would imagine top 15 is likely. Depends on how well we win too.
 
I don’t see where a mid season ranking goal is relevant however if by some miracle we win out and go to play Clemson with just the LSU loss then we will easily be around the top 6 at that point purely on the fact that there are usually only 4 undefeated or 1 loss teams at that point. If by another miracle LSU looks good the rest of the season that helps also.

Wasn’t pathetic last year when Miami beat the **** out of them.
 
We'd have to win every game convincingly from now til then to be close to a top ten ranking.

just gotta love forum police. pretty sure my education exceeds yours . if we played right now, neutral field, VT would be a 9 point favorite. and I hate the hokies.......
