Sorry if this has been posted but this tells the sad, sad truth and it is no one's fault BUT Al. It makes me wonder if he would've ever fired Jethro unless he moved on himself. The guy in the comment section of this article is spot on as well.

Crap, I never realized ole Melvin coached at Temple with Al. Another wounder child from the Temple defensive coaching staff. Al still thinks the problem is players just don't get his defense -- not that his defense sucks. The man's pride just will not allow for any change at all.

Last season, defensive linemen combined for 7 of the team's 27 total sacks. Linebacker Thurston Armbrister led the team with five sacks. Since Al Golden arrived at Miami in 2011, no defensive lineman -- or anybody on the team for that matter -- has gotten more than 5 sacks in a season.
