Why the kneel down at the end?

It looked like Manny and Lashlee talked about it and disagreed about the philosophy. I’m assuming Lashlee wanted to punch it in. I just don’t understand why everything is so PC these days. Get more reps and play til the buzzer sounds. Clemson was trying to knock us on our *** til the last seconds of their game, that’s a championship dog mentality. Why can’t we do the same? Not complaining about the W, but 38-19 and doubling the other teams score looks a whole lot better than 31-19 and would’ve covered the spread. Just my 2 cents

We should have punched it in.

When other team calls timeouts to extend the game and try to stop you, you punch it in.

You only kneel when the other team has timeouts but doesn't use them....they are conceding.

Exactly. Clemson put up 70+ points today. And they did so with their reserves in the second half. Why couldn't we just keep feeding Burns, who's 4th on the depth chart, the ball. Thats not even bad sportsmanship, that kid works hard and deserves the opportunity to score a touchdown

I hate the kneel down with almost a minute to go. Go for it! Narduzzi is a bit of a clown and I would have loved to get another score.
 
the game was over and Diaz wanted to show mercy.

He is hoping other teams do the same to him next time he’s down by 12 with 2:36 to go.

Yeah... I'll definitely enjoy this W instead of writing a paragraph about why we didn't do something even though the game was already decided.

Big difference between 1 minute left in the game vs the entire second half.
