Sorry for another Butch thread...
But I simply cannot understand why the BOT / AD wouldn't, at the very least, interview him, talk to him, hear him out.
He obviously wants the job, he'd be more hungry and more motivated than any other candidate.
He understands Miami, South Florida, what it takes to win here and recruit in the best recruiting area in the country.
He clearly has an incredible eye for talent.
All of this is fact, not merely an opinion. We know this.
So why NOT Butch Davis?? Seriously.
According to the radio interview he gave yesterday, there were 10 different/independent investigations that ALL found he had no knowledge of what was going on. He also received documentation directly from the NCAA clearing him of ANY involvement. In fact, this had been going on for YEARS BEFORE he even got to UNC.
"But it came to light under his watch." So what?

The names being thrown around are NOWHERE near the coach Butch Davis is/was/will be.
