You'd think in today's world most schools would be able to align with nfl measuring/testing methods. Is it done on purpose to hype players with inaccurate numbers?

FSU and VT in the 90s were horrible. I would joke about VT players running their 40 down the side of a mountain. It's usually the 40 yard dash that gets embellished by colleges. Maybe it's due to being hand timed but I think schools are always trying to pump sunshine with their players.
It's like wrestling - they're one step away from billing the players "from parts unknown".You'd think in today's world most schools would be able to align with nfl measuring/testing methods. Is it done on purpose to hype players with inaccurate numbers?
