Why is Richt fascinated with Rosier?

Someone here said it best...

because Richt is a back up QB, that calls plays and manages a team like a back up QB, he has an affinity with Rosier types, Rosier is Richt.

Rosier did that all last year and does it every game. Lame. We should be dynamic with Perry. He can make the throws when the play calling suit his game we have seen it. Deep ball ain't his thing, that is why Richt hates him, because that is all Richt has in the passing game. Richt is to fault not Perry.

Who the **** were you watching last year? Rosier won 10 games - and his passes were good enough to get him more than a game and a half as a starter - and you may remember he didn't have the talent around like Perry has (same bad O-line though). Richt almost yanked him last week he was so bad the first half, even some of his most ardent supporters bailed on him after that. Then he comes out and throws the game away with a 30% completion percentage and two horrible INTs that should of started nailing the coffin shut after the Defense gave him those turnovers.

When Rosier did start to falter last year Perry wasn't ready. Perry wasn't ready this spring, Perry wasn't ready to take the position away in August, and apparently Perry still isn't ready. **** he makes me miss Kaaya who was awful.

No siree, the only reason Richt is at fault, given his reputation as a QB whisperer, is not having us a viable QB three years in. He should have recruited one, who would by now would have bought in, known the plays, and have the ability to at least be a game manager. Rosier wasn't his recruit - him playing him, shows the program dropped the ball recruiting QBs.

That's what I've been saying. ****** QB's stick with ****** QB's. He sees himself in Malik.

??? Perry throws a decent deep ball and Rosier absolutely sucks at the deep throw.

Where is this myth coming from that Rosier is good at throwing deep?

He just lobs it up there praying the receiver makes a miraculous catch
 
Richt hasn't had a good QB since Aaron Murray...he has legit gone through like 6 or 7 QBs in the past five seasons and they've all stunk since Murray.

If we're being real about it...maybe he just doesn't know what a good one looks like anymore? Maybe he doesn't know how to utilize the ones he's got?

This is the same guy trotting out Greyson Lambert and Hutson Mason in recent vintage, so...
