The decisions made under his watch have been absolutely catastrophic for this program.
Do not come at me with IPF fundraising. Dead wrong. It was floundering for years and the ONLY reason it come to fruition was Richt ponying up $1M from his own pocket which energized big donors (Stouffer family). Without Richt it's still a pipe dream. Blake James is not a good fundraiser.
He extended Al Golden. As a result we had to keep him and his buddy for 2 extra years because we could not afford his buyout.
He extended Richt after one good stretch of football. Did he think some big program was going to swoop in and offer Richt a hugh deal? Completely unnecessary.
After being gifted a miracle and having Richt walk away from millions owed from the ill-advised extension he managed to squander that gift.
Hiring Manny without even conducting a search or reaching out to other candidates is mind boggling.
It's much worse than stealing money for the last 7 years, he is responsible for diminishing a once great brand. His record is appalingly bad and I can not understand how the people who have the ability to change this sit back and allow this to continue.
There is no other major college program that would support track record like this.
