First game I ever attended was Canes-gators freshman football game in 1963 encountered arrogance then as an 8 year old and haven't forgot it. We won 22-18 over Spurrier at QB.

The 69 game when half the Cuban people in Miami came out to support Carlos Alvarez as he caught 15 passes that night and got a huge roar on every catch. We were outnumbered in fans at a home game.

The Flop game I was sitting in 8th row above play and was scarred for life. Kudos to John Clifford who grew up in Gables and was only gater to not flop.

75 game when SEC refs stole game, we punted late in game up 11-8, gator player fielded punt with knee on ground, Cane player dove over him so as not get penalty, he got up and returned punt for winning TD

78 game when we came back from down 21-3 at halftime and as we boarded train in Waldo had beer bottles thrown at us.

80 game when we had oranges thrown at us entire game and never had PA tell them to stop or see security do anything about it. Thank you Howard for last second FG.

82 game was hottest day ever in my life, artificial turf, stadium below street level, 98 degrees no clouds and no wind. Vendors were selling drinks below stadiumas soon as they filled them and wouldn't sell me one until they served gator fans 1st and security said they couldn't help, yet when pushed from behind I turned around to confront pusher and security sprung into action to save fool.

83 game had a beer spilled down my back after their 1st score but couldn't identify where it came from.

After they stopped playing us in 87 it was a big void as I never missed a Canes gator game and that was one more reason to hate them.

This game means more to some of us oldtimers than many of the younger fans will ever know.

Biggest scumbag fan base in college football. As a collective, they are garbage.
As for the team, their own campus police pull for the opposing teams.

I hate that ******* team! I can't stand the fan base either. **** all things Gator.

The worst that you can expect from anyone is to be ignored. They think we don't exist even when we had 4 national championships to their none. They and ND are the two most arrogant schools anywhere. When they win they're obnoxious and when they lose they say it doesn't really matter. Miami isn't the SEC. Now they won't play us. We should never try to schedule them again.

All that brother, plus they never won a thing back then but were still arrogant. Love Fran's curse on them that we would win NC before they won sec. Thank God the 49ers saved the Fins from having to draft that loser Spurrier and we got Bob instead. I would have given up my Fin tickets before I watched him, plus the Fins would never have been great.

Words cannot express how low the swamp scum are and have always been. Take VT, wrapped in ND, and put OSU on it as a bow and you still have not come close to what a lowlife, suckie, piece of crap the reptiles are. And I have been in fistfight at VT, and got hit by a Nun at the Catholics vs Convicts game. Actually, those are fond memories compared to swamp scum.

I'm not going to lie, I thought the flop was pretty cool. A lot of you would think that was great if we were the team to it, whether you would admit that or not. That was before my time as a fan though.

So many reasons to hate UF -- Arrogance when they wouldn't play us in the 30's , tried to get their alums to stop us from getting the first medical school in the state in the 50's, making sure we would not get in the S.E.C. in the 60's, gator flop in the 70's , fans pelting Schnellenberger with ice when we were winning going away at gator stadium, refusing to continue the series in the 80's ( when we were beating them all over the field). the fight in N.O.( we won the fight and the game),the president puposefully rating all other Florida Universities down to U.S. News poll to build up UF ( Tampa papers found out about that- 2009 ). Lost #1 acadenic ranking in state to THE U --2011). Kicking the last minute field goal in the '09 game to make the point spread against Shannon.
Their Alums are insufferable but it comes from the top -- always has.

Millions of reasons to hate. Just a few. To scared to play us. Players like L. Murphy talking **** about the logo The U, but what really gets me is their fans. No matter how bad they are all of them will tell you how great they are. 90% of them don't know a dam thing about football. half couldn't tell you a current player on their roster (that includes all NFL scouts). The fact they act like they are so much better to everyone cause they went to UF. Plain and simple **** them.

Jorts. You really don't need another reason. If I see a Miami fan in jorts on Saturday I will personally kill him.

Bottom line, for all their peacocking, supposed glorious history, unlimited funds and millions of alumni, they aren't as good of a program as Miami.

We have a winning head-to-head record against them, and 67% more National Championships than they do. Miami>>>>UF and you can't even argue it. We got em head to head and we got em with the Rings.

Add in that were a better, private University in a world-class city vs. an academically dwindling budget deficient Wal-Mart of a state U in a cow pasture, and I'm not sure why any pixels are being wasted on the conversation.

Such a myth with the jorts....even if they were fubu or Sean John jorts would you kill them? Can't wait to see the little cane princesses! That my friend is about the only positive thing scUM has going!

I'd have someone else kill them, but they'd be dead just the same.
