Why does Gulliver suck so bad?

1 Gulliver player had 27 tackles in a game so that tells u a lot. Plantation has a solid defense this year but bad sp teams and that wingT option offense is tough to run down here.

That offense is trash.

The best Wing-T coach in Broward even scrapped that crap and changed up his offense. (Guandolo)

I always hated it, but for some reason it was popular run for some time in south Florida. What does Guandolo run now?

Same reason Plantation sucks.
Same reason Central sucks.
Same reason Coconut Creek sucks.
Same reason South Plantation sucks.
Same reason Boyd Anderson sucks.
Same reason Ely sucks.

I haven't seen Plantation play. But why are they bad? I remember when they hired Steve Davis as coach everyone said it'll take time because he built a monster team at Ely with Tyrone Moss. However, a decade has passed and it doesn't seem as if his system has worked at Plantation.

Steve Davis. LOL

Dude allowed us to beat him TWICE in one season when he had Jeremy Cash and Ryan Shazier. (along with a few other D-1 kids)

Plantation IMO is by far the most under-achieving program in Broward. They should be a contender every year. Their school boundary has so much talent. They always have a handful of legit D-1 players. Davis must have naked pics of their AD or Principal...or their administration just doesn't wanna win football games.

You'd probably be surprised at how many administrations down here have no desire to be good in football (or athletics in general). Some don't care and most don't even have a clue how it's done. I know of administrations that refuse to lighten a Head Coach's class load, won't open job positions to bring other coaches on campus, basically won't give the HC any of the resources that he needs to win football games. It's crazy.

I actually know Davis. I was rooting for him but it appears he's living off his Ely days. Plantation should have never let Frank Hepler go. Plantation was always a force with him at the helm.

Frank Hepler moved to Georgia and started a pretty good program. Think they were like 10-2 last time I checked. Plantation got rid of him for some shady reasons. They haven't been the same since

Once you stop Buck Sweep, Trap and Waggle that's all they've got. That's the Wing-T's bread and butter. One of the reasons it's worked down here is because slappy Defensive Coordinators either line-up in their base defense against it...or they just put 10 guys in the box. That's not how you stop it.

Guandolo runs a multiple offense, some spread mixed in with various formations that utilize Wing-T principles. He's no longer exclusively Wing-T. It's a nice offense. Hard to prepare for.

Coconut creek's offensive line is the worst big school position group I've ever seen lol. Those poor kids are out there without any type of coaching.

My boy is the O-line coach there. LOL

I don't know how good of a coach he is. All I know is that I played against him once in 2012 and one of my Defensive Ends had 6 sacks. LOL

They have a problem at Offensive Coordinator IMO. They're one-dimensional. Their whole offense revolves around the deep ball. Well if you can't protect your QB, you can't throw the deep ball! That's how they got their a$$ kicked by Flanagan.

Don't associate yourself with that lol. The Flanagan game highlight has 7-8 sacks in a 3 minute video. It's not like they don't have bodies up there either. Not that this area has many real coaches anyway but I think Connolly at STA (he's not running the OL anymore), the guy at Chaminade and Luque at Uschool always have well coached kids up front. (I named 3 private schools and I know you're going to say something about that lol)

Nah, I wouldn't argue with that.

I bet O-line is probably one of the hardest positions to find good coaching down here. It's a technical position and we lack those type of coaches down here.
