Until it was 31-10? Before making a change? I really really really need someone here to please find a way to get that question asked. Forget everything else for a minute. Was he thinking we couldn’t possibly lose to MTSU and decided to try to let Van Dyke figure it out? To me that was the most egregious coaching error and if he had it to do over again, I don’t think he would. I don’t think ANYONE here disagrees with the premise that was a horrible mistake. So, is there anyone that can find a way to get that asked? Whether it is on one of the radio shows etc,,, but I really would like to know what his thought process was when TVD was clearly having a mental breakdown.

I'm not even mad that he waited. Just thankful that he eventually did make the change--an action uncharacteristic of many of his predecessors. Garcia's impact would not cover for the revelation to most that this team really is not good at all. Sucks we lost to MTSU to figure this one out. Maybe it's the catalyst for a turning point in this program--time will tell.

Agree. Cannot see past coaches making that move at that point. They'd have stayed with TVD simply because he's "the guy" and was hyped and pulling him would've been bad optics.

It better be an open competition in practice to see who starts: I could see the odd man out in the portal.
