Wtf is there to be positive about right now? A 10 win season? Congrats you had the best offense in the country, a top 3 draft pick and the easiest schedule you could imagine and still lost two games. Then on top of it you just lost your number 1 WR for next year to the portal. But yea let’s pretend everything is fantastic just like it has been for the last 20 years.

Then on top of it you just lost your number 1 WR for next year to the portal. But yea let’s pretend everything is fantastic just like it has been for the last 20 years.

I mean I took plenty of positives from this season personally, and not 10 wins because that’s a charity prize. That means virtually nothing. Championships and postseason appearances mean more. You get PAID to make the postseason.

- Showcased a 1st round QB
- Developed and advertised and explosive passing attack
- Brought back the TEU narrative (at least temporarily) with a soon to be high pick in Arroyo
- Got punched in the mouth and fought back in multiple games. Older Miami teams would have folded.

Those are all good things. And yet, you highlighted a lot of the disappointing ones, and those unfortunately Trump the good things. Why? Because winning meaningful games matters above all, and when it mattered most, we turtle’d up and choked.

We did not go all in to win 10 games. We went all in to win the ACC (or at least get there) and make a 12-team playoff.

Right we saw a lot of positives. The ones you mentioned and we got to see X break records to add to that. But we also saw the negatives I mentioned and the worst defense in program history. In the end, this team choked down the stretch when they were in the ******* drivers seat to the first 12 team playoff. If you want to get back to playing with the big boys you need to make that 12 team playoff every year. Especially when you are spending this kind of money.

A few different players in the defensive backfield would've made a huge difference.
