Who Steps up at DE?

Assuming the Lowe news is true I wanted a separate thread about our young DE’s. It is pretty critical one of the young DE’s step up and make an impact. Who does CIS think is the most likely? Charles? Scroggins? Pickett?

Scroggins and Pickett played well in spots last season, but neither was a difference maker. Charles and LaFayette could become game changers but they are likely 3rd string to start the season.
 
Been a big fan of Booker Pickett JR since his Junior year in High School.

Prototype size & has excellent burst at the point of attack.

He's shown some small glimpses of his capabilities in the limited PT's he's gotten his first 2 years.

This is the perfect opportunity for him to take another step into a legitimate role in the 2-deep as the backup behind Lightfoot. But due to his size & speed, he can play either side as an Edge rusher.
 
Scroggins from all I’ve heard has his head in the right place. Pause. That’s the kind of players that will outperform a more physically talented player every time.
 
I think 3rd Scroggins can give the defense solid snaps. He's a physical player with a helluva motor. I also think Pickett could contribute as a pass rush specialist, the kid is twitchy & can explode off the LOS.
