Who is the greatest non Cane CFB player you have ever seen?

Apologies if this has been posted before, but I have said to many over the last 40 years the best player I have ever seen was Herschel Walker. Someone fact check me on this, but didn't he come in 2nd in the Heisman as a freshman? Guy was a grown man as a freshman running around, over and through everyone. I mean the defense knew he was getting the ball and still could nothing to stop him.

this will be interesting because I think it depends on generation and where you grew up. The game wasn’t as national even when I was a kid in the 90s and early 2000s. I grew up in SoCal during USC under Carroll, so for me it’s Reggie Bush.

Ah I’m 31. So not too familiar with anyone pre late 90s. I’m sure I’m missing plenty of names. Tebow wasn’t some great QB for sure. But great college player
