College Football Rules state that once per game a coach can call a timeout and challenge a call. Of course the team must have an available timeout.
In the LSU game it was pretty evident that LSU catch at the 1 yard line was incomplete. Player went to the ground and did not retain possession.
The question is, who is in the booth letting Richt know when to challenge? This was a huge play in the game and it should have been challenged. Need a grad assistant or quality control guy handling this. Hopefully that is the case but I have never heard Richt speak about who he has handling this situation.
