Coach Golden is in over his head and needs fired. Everyone from the news casters to Helen Keller in the grave can see that. Here lies the real question then, Does the BoT actually want the football program to succeed? Does anyone here actually have real information as to why the administration continues to allow this mockery of a coaching staff to take the field? They cant be intentionally sabotaging the program can they?

"This is the new Miami ", is responsible for everything wrong with the football program.
 
Shalala and Blake the Fake James. The administration is a bunch of cheap ******** and Al is a car salesman trying to coach football like his idle Joe Pa. The only problem is with Al we don't come from behind like he was used to a Penn St.

The loser mentality is contagious in the 305. The Dolphins suck, the Marlins suck, the Canes suck. The common denominator: ownership/leadership. UM leadership is horrible (cheap ****ers would rather cash checks from the ACC and Adidas than win). What they don't realize is winning will make them MORE ******* $$$, Stephen Ross is more concerned with getting a Super Bowl and hiring his buddies (Philbin is Golden 20 years from now), Jeffery Loria.........well.........he's just a piece of **** crook.

Administration. Football at Miami has succeeded not because of administration but in spite of administration. They were only concerned with improving academics instead of having the best of both worlds. When this program was on the rise they didn't nurture it. They thought they could do it on the cheap and now we're paying the price for it. I think they still don't get it. College football has changed and you can't be cheap anymore. If you want to be successful you need to spend money.
 
If the admin wanted to sabatoge the program they wouldn't of rebuilt be shwarts center, nutrition center for athletes, turf fields, new lights.

Ok, I get that about "shwarts center, nutrition center for athletes, turf fields, new lights." so why dont they put a competent coaching staff that will utilize the talent on hand to the best possible outcome?

It's a process. Not enough pillars in place to support that yet.

Am thinking the ACC may have pushed them to make some improvements. They don't want to lose their welfare check from the conference. Shalala and Co. played those Tobacco Road hicks like a violin to get in just so they could get that money that FSU, Clemson, Duke and UNC bring in every year.

As for our teams, they could give a rat's ***. The whole bunch of these petty thieves should be booted out the door along with Golden and Company.

His initial contract was a five year deal. Extension on top of that. We gotta wait a little bit. He'll be here for the rest of the season and next year.
 
The libs that run Miami don't want another scandal. Golden is pretty clean and they like that. They care nothing of on field performance. They care that Golden is able to control the football team so they dont act like a bunch of animals. That is all that matters.

They've got controversy right now. It's on every major sports media outlet. The noise is too loud. It's the opposite of why they hired Golden in the first place, to your initial point. Keep up the losing and the banners and Goldens toast.
