Who in RB room benefits most individually from an improved road grader OL?

Who in RB room benefits the team the most from an improved road grader OL?

In theory....

1. Parrish - because at 190 lbs he benefits the most from reducing the hits he takes (Interesting fact - Parrish actually averages more yards after contact than Chaney)
2. Fletcher - because bigger holes to let a 225+ lb RB get a head of steam & meet LB's & DB's in the hole vs DL's will be a huge help in short yardage

In practice - we'll see how it plays out

I think that the first one is Chaney. He's been hurt, he's going to need open holes and the ability to pick up his first few yards easily.

The second one is tougher, since we have a few injuries and transfer losses, so I'm going to have to say Parrish, as I think he can benefit us BOTH in the running game AND in the passing game BECAUSE OF the THREAT of the run.

For me I'd say Parrish as an individual because he's shown what he can do with just a sliver of space in both run/pass games.

For the second, I'd say our 3rd down backs because they would penetrate further towards LOS prior to first contact...THE crucial element in moving the chains in short yardage where our Canes have been dreadful.

Henry Parrish is the answer for both because if you open running lanes he will find them. He has elite vision.

I guess you could make the argument for Chaney individually because it may help him and his injury concerns - except he has had non-contact issues too.
non-contact issues? do you mean (a) football non-contact injuries/issues or (b) non-football, non-contact issues?

Parrish imo

North / South 1 cut runners that play with very good pad level eat with a bulldozer of an OL.

Naturally the rising tide lifts all boats, but more upright / square backs will be more prone to defensive players getting their paws on’em.

Hoping Fletch hits the ground running as well. Travonte will have his day eventually..

We only have one running back who's carried the ball enough in college to make a judgement on.

While improved line play will help any running back, what Henry Parrish does best is finding creases that most won't and turning no gain/negative gain plays into positive gains. He's oddly the ideal back for a team that doesn't block well.
