Who do we want at Kick Returner This year?

No to Coley or Walton.

I would like to see Berrios, or even Yearby. With his quick step Yearby could be good. If not then definitely a Freshman...Sam, or AR would be fine with me. At PR is should be Berrios or Elder. Or even switch them up....

Yearby and berrios are not kick or punt returners. Yes yearby can make people miss but he's not a dynamic returner. We have several on the roster so it be would a shame to not use that as an advantage. And people need to quit with this I don't want coley or elder to get hurt bullsh*t you got going on. It's football sh*t happens. Regardless if they are on special teams or on the field on offense or defense there is chance anyone can get hurt every play. Special teams is 1/3rd of the game, games are decided by this phase of the game so you put your best playmakers back their period

Brock,
For one, my reasoning has nothing to do with injuries regarding Walton, he just was not very good. And as others have stated, Coley got KILLED by Burgess, and like it or not it ruined his sophomore year. Kid is a great receiver and we need him there more than kick returns. I thought Yearby, because he makes people miss, cuts on a dime, has good vision and is fast enough to be a good returner. He is also part of a three way backfield. AR and Bruce may end up being more valuable than just Yearby when you think bout depth at position.

As for PR, Elder and Berrios are the best we have. Unless Sam or AR prove someone wrong. Coley has never been great on punts in my opinion. He's broken a couple, but his average is not great. Watch the film on Berrios, he's a PR all day. And to me its worth the risk because of Dayall, Sam and Malc.

And no most teams do not necessarily put their best playmakers back there. But I understand your point of view. For me it would always be a young RB or WR, maybe CB. If he had better ball skills, I would have loved to see choice back there. Maybe they will use Homer. I could see him doing well at least on KR

Tremain Mack.....

Bunch of question marks at this point. Who ever it is I hope we get back to having Dangerous return men. For a long time we had a factory of return men from

Kevin Williams
Johnathan Harris
Santana Moss
Phillip Buchanon
Roscoe Parrish
Devin Hester
Duke Johnson

I really don't care who becomes that person but I want to strike fear in peoples Heart every time they punt it or kick off.

**** how did I forget him. Probably the all around GOAT special teams players. That block in the W Virginia games was amazing

**** yeah it was. I remember watching that game and all WVU has to do is get a punt off and they win but they are deep in their own territory. Besides the actual play what really stood out is that right before the ball is snapped the announcer says "West Virginia needs to be aware of Tremain Mack. He is capable of blocking this punt". Then sure as chit Mack blocks it and Nate Brooks scoops and scores. Great great memory!

If Coley injuries are a concern, why would we put Richards back there with turf toe? I say Bruce and Homer. Bruce or Berrios on PR.

Ask our last ST coach and then go with ANYONE else. Seriously, I am hoping KR is not a big issue this year because our D doesn't allow many points.
