Yeah I just don't even care. We are not the best team in the country. But I like our chances against any team in the country.

We can get elite in the next few years, but right now we are an overachieving team who probably plays better in the underdog role. Bring on Pitt!
 
Water down the season?

Playing Toledo, FAMU, and Bethune ain't watered down already? Come on son! There is only 3 games a season (out of 12) that actually rustle my jimmies.

I cant' wait to start knocking down some overrated SEC bull****.

100%. Give Richt some more time and the overachieving of this season will become the expected.
 
Why should we drop? We beat UVA by 2+ TDs. Didn't Clemson just "squeak" by a four-win FSU team at home last week and jumped two spots in the rankings?!?
 
What did being #3 help against UVA? Nothing, alot of y'all were jumping off the bandwagon as well. Y'all need to give it up. If we win the next two games we are in the playoffs. There is nothing else to say. Let the media create talking points.

Top 9 is going to stay exactly the same, Penn State and USC might flip flop the 10 and 11 spot if USC has a solid win tonight.

Everyone still has their biggest games in front of them:

Wisconsin plays Ohio State
Alabama plays Auburn and potentially Georgia
Georgia plays Alabama or Auburn
Oklahoma plays TCU (they're out of the playoff but they're still Top 12)

Of course, but we're likely playing a top two team. We'll know if we belong in the playoffs based on the ACCCG. That will be our opportunity to show everyone we belong. Wisconsin beating Ohio St. but not making the playoffs is very real, and that would leave a lot of questions about how good Wisconsin really is. But not us, we'll know..

Does anyone outside of the committee actually believe that Clemson is the 2nd best team in the country though? Their 1 loss is easily the worst loss of any of the Top 7 teams.

Overachieving? You see Malik play and think we're overachieving? I'd say we're inconsistent but getting better, generally play down to competition, and aside from ND we've yet to really play a complete game.

You're overachieving if you play outside of your true ability. Like UVA, today.

We're underachieving in my book.
