I have news for U, young school Cane. MULTI-MILLIONAIRE booster members do have A MAJOR say in the program! For instance, look at that Nebraska football program. Who do you think came up with their head coaches contract? And who do you think gave the command to FIRE ex-Nebraska HC O' Reilly? And dig this too. These same filthy rich rustic provincial Hayseed good ol boy's had the say so, on getting Be Bop Bo Pellini fired. hUh

Too bad these small town multi-millionaire's keep CHASING BAD MONEY after bad money in their HC-ing hires.
 
Blake James wins hands down. Blake James managed to have the best available major college job and no buyout to pay the previous guy. He didn't even TRY to conduct a search, just gave the job to a guy he could have had 2 weeks later. As long as FSU's AD makes a single phone call to someone not currently on the staff, that's more than Blake did. Even if by some miracle Diaz turns out to be good, it's still the worst managed hiring process I've ever seen.

Blake James and his right hand woman Jenn Strawley Run by far the most incompetent, worst athletic department in all of CFB. And it’s not even close! And they will both be called out for there incompetence In T-minus 5 days.

I know money talks, but you don't often see a group trying to take over an athletic department publicly. Their logo is now on the field.

I was talking with a buddy who works for FSU. He said the athletic department is cheap. Jimbo left because they wouldn't spend anything to upgrade facilities or pay staff more. Even our AD acknowledged the need for upgrades, even if it did take prodding.

this has been the rumor concerning the AD there for a while now. thats why they werent sure Willie would get fired after this year bc of his buyout. its also why i dont see them hiring mark stoops unless the booster funds comes up with another 20 mill for his buyout from kentucky

FSU did not have to buyout Jimbo either. That's a push. I will say the Richt hire was better than the Taggart hire. We will see who they hire now.

I can back this up for a fact. The big money guys run that athletic department and like you pointed out, that's why Jimbo left. People want to talk about how the fsu athletic department is broke and this and that, but that doesn't even matter in this case. Nothing would surprise me right now about who they target and how much they pay for that particular person.

Haha it was never against manny but do continue maricon! It was against you and all your cronies in the athletic dept. Blake, Strawley, @Go Canes!! and the rest of you bunch of pretenders. Manny didn’t hire himself, it’s not his fault incompetence is the name of the game in the UM athletic dept. hopefully you all will enjoy the banner directed totally at everyone of you in the Hecht for your crimes against this program. I look forward to the day every single one of you is fired. And don’t worry my friend, after your handed your walking papers from the Hecht there’s always bartender school or barber college. Lol

That's the beauty of it dummy. Based on what I do, no matter how Manny or Blake fare I won't be fired.

Regardless, I'm sure he still appreciates you spending your rent money to fly a banner pledging your 100% support. Hopefully at the end of the season he'll give you a shout out on the radio or something to let you know how much it meant to him.
