I was thinking about this as the game went on.
On offense the only certain starter is probably Duce Robinson and not so much because he's a great polished player but b/c he's 6'6" and has raw ability.
Kevin Beard could probably polish him into a first round type player by improving his catching and route running ability. He is the only WR on their entire time that caught a pass in the 1st half and we had matchup problems against him because of this overwhelming size.
Lawane McCoy is a local guy we recruited and he might see some playing time but he wouldn't be a starter here with all the firepower ahead of him.
Pittman as a TE would likely be a distant backup to al the TE we have on this team.
All of FSU Rb would likely be riding the bench as well as their Offensive lineman.
And finally T. Castellanos would probably be the first team kickoff and/or punt returner and head of the scout team.
As for the defense:
Edwin Joseph is another local guy we recruited that might not start but may play.
Earl Little would be scout team along with everyone else in that secondary that got roasted by our WR.
I really can't think about anyone else on that defense that would be a starter here and or see significant playing time.
The TV annoncers made a big deal about those twins on the DLine but they aren't better than blount/lighfoot and others we have.
Their kicker and punter also probably wouldn't be 1st string here either but nice as backups.
Anyone disagree?
