at least 10 times yesterday Jarren dropped back (straight or off PA) and pass pro was great, clean pocket, and nothing downfield...

are our receivers not getting open, or is Jarren not seeing guys that are open..

Im leaning towards our receivers not getting open, I think we are vastly overrated in this department and need major help.. time to get Payton in there

we have no WR1

I was wondering why JW was not getting any downfield action. My suspicion was that he didn’t see anyone getting open. Am I wrong?

Just put JW in shotgun this year.... stop with these cute slow developing under center hand offs and fake stuff... let the man stand back and see the field.

Every time he turns around sticking the ball out with the man in motion cutting between him and the back, it looks like an accident waiting to happen...

He is accurate enough to pick apart any defense ala Charlie Ward... he has got the wheels just enough to be a threat. Just let him stand back with a couple of extra seconds and he will do just fine..

Same here. JW appears to me smooth and throws a nice pass. But a few times I felt like he could have let go of the ball quicker. Maybe this is because the WR are not getting open. In regards to deep throws. He has to work on those. We had possible 2 TD's underthrown

He is a freshman qb playing in his 1st road start do yall not remember how NKOSI looked at UVA last year???

Tate didn't play yesterday

I’m being sarcastic...WR snap count is the key to success for some...

Further thoughts for those thinking too much or not at all.....Tate gets the first instead of getting tripped up and walks in the two pt conversion....

Hightower showed last night with drops and no separation wiggins and pope going to play more with how the starters been consistent besides the touchdown drop plus a1 blocking got step their game up at miami you got to take what u want that's what's missing that heart but Diaz getting right you see how losing feel now watching how the team is different after first win all receivers going to ball

Probably both

Need to play Pope, Hightower, Wiggins and Payton over Tate. It’s that simple.....

And go spread...

And run the ball more...

Let Pope kick too
No Wiggins, I don’t want to see Hightower until further notice, Pope eh, I’d rather try Payton over him. If Tate could catch put him in. I was saying I wanted to see more of Hightower but that drop changed my tune about him.

I think one of the wrs that doesnt play needs to move to db. We need serious help back there.

They got separation. Jarren puts more air under the pass and a little more to the inside Thomas Scores on the deep post. Other Thomas deep ball, throws that a yard farther and that was 6. Pass to Harley was 6 but he threw it not to overthrow (guess the Thomas throw was still on his mind) so Harley had to stop to catch.

So far he is the only player I have seen to get better week to week outside of Zion. Cleaned up all his errors from UF game. Next couple games I expect him to get more comfortable with the deep passes and take off from there. Props to Enos for coaching him up. Those receivers outside of Harley, Thomas, and Osborn I don’t think they will ever materialize (exempt the freshman) Martell May or May not

When you have two smurfs out there, no disrespect to Harley or Thomas, there's going to be a lot of times their routes are interrupted and they'll get bodied off the line. Down the field they better have separation or a **** good pass or they've essentially been turned into a DB.

Vastly overrated group although KJ is legit.

Why do our fans think the coaches want to play inferior WR's
- by the way --- our WRs did a solid job getting open and their blocking was better than the OL

I don’t think JW arm is as strong as Perry’s. That’s why he’s hestitant to throw down field imo. The throw to JT was underthrown badly but he adjusted nicely.
