Ed Reed had no chance of not being great. didn't matter who his coach was. ******* Coker coached him, remember?

i give a lil more credit than bagging groceries. ......he would be the grocerie manager at a local piggly wiggies in Louisiana and a part time little league coach for the local team.

you guys are seriously underestimating ed's leadership skills - he'd be the general manager of a grocery store in Miami.

We would never have heard of him. Too much freelancing - would have riden the pine unless he transferred.

People keep citing "Coker was his coach" but I don't remember Coker ever citing a defense ranked in the 100s over a two year span

This defense robs the players. But to OPs question, golden would've never found Ed Reed anyways.
