Where to Tailgate at FSU?

Behind the Bank of America. Bathroom right at the gas station, the woods are right there if that line is long, huge beer fridge in said gas station in case you run out. And it's right across the stadium. I also walk in to The Palace with my Canes gear right before the game to LOL @ some FSU fans

I heard the Palace burned down? Or was that wishful thinking. That place was a dump, couldn't drive by it without smelling like cigarettes.

A decade + ago, my group often parked around W. Park Ave and W. Call St, near the cemetery, found isolated shady spots where we could tailgate and chill out, not to mention the walk to the stadium takes you by the sororities...the mix of big oak trees and drunken tail is the best thing about FSU.

If you want to be surrounded by lots of Miami fans, the Civic Center parking lot is the way to go. The march to the stadium from there does take you by several frat houses / ****** student lodging. I always enjoyed trash talk though, so that never discouraged me much.

If you are on FB, search for Canes United...Kings of The Road. Great Miami fans, lots of player parents and former players stop by the tailgate and several members take the initiative to organize a great tailgate, from spot to food coordinating. I won't be in Tally this year but hope to catch a couple of away games and always meet up or coordinate wth them.

Any ideas where to tailgate in Tally for tailgate?

If you're into dodging projectiles (bottles, cups, staplers, whatever), there's a nice townhouse complex to walk through between Indian Village and the Stadium. Really gets the blood flowing.
