If we aren't firing him the best hope is for him to get a job somewhere else.

Kansas
Oregon St

The more of these 2nd tier Big 5 schools open up, the better.

Surprising that a top job like Nebraska would hire a guy like Riley, which gives me hope that Golden can get a job somewhere else. The Michigan AD sounds like a guy who would go for Golden too, but that's more of a long shot.

Anyone hearing anything?

Still spins on the coaching wheel to shake out.

Michigan has to hire someone, which could open a job somewhere else, etc.

Rutgers could fire their coach (that's our best bet)...but I think that might have happened already if it were going to.

When the NFL silly season starts, there could be a guy or two poached from college (Shaw at Stanford maybe? Art Briles?) that opens some stuff up.

It doesn't look great, but we're not out of it yet! Remember, the Penn State **** was right after the new year last time around.

Agreed if Rutgers opens up that would be another good spot. Stanford and Baylor might go for better hires a la Michigan, but they're also possibilities. Shaw has a better chance than Briles IMO of getting picked up in the NFL.

Yeah, my thought process was more that if, say, Stanford were to lose Shaw they might spring for someone from an academic minded school, which could then in turn open a job that Al might be a good candidate for. Every one of these moves is really like 5 moves by the time it all shakes out.

Schiano gets Michigan job, after that every job is a major step down Rutgers? Kansas St ? pipe dreams period. Stanford Sr.Mgmt team has hired Harbaugh then Shaw.( stone cold winners)... & AD I'll bet has a short list and Al's not on it.... Briles will not be leaving Baylor now or in the future
need to accept the fact that A &AD are staying till new President is on board & makes the call. Blake is more of a "lifer " for Canes
considering the present success in hires at the AD & football HC level why oh why would you want Donna & company making any decisions period. this group put us in the ditch.......they do not deserve another shot
critical decision that has to be made is does Miami want to be a championship program or a program who's goal tops out at Coastal division champion .........issues with Miami start way, way above old AL

Kansas. If he goes 6-6 and every four yrs can give them a 9-4season they would be happy, he would have no pressure in Kansas as long as h makes a bowl game.
