Jarren has done the work and seems prepared better than previous years, including maturing some over the offseason. He has the best upper body mechanics of all the 3 QB’s and was given the task to work on his footwork and lower body. We’ll see how that translates in Fall camp. Each QB had different things to work on, the one who studied the most, worked the most on their deficiencies mechanics wise, and the one who commends a presence in the locker room amongst his peers shall be anointed. I fully believe Enos understands that, gets it, and will make a sound decision on who shall lead the team into battle 8/24.

I was livid with the reports last year that while Jarren didn't know the playbook - he was still hitting receivers on the opposite side of the field - if necessary.

But the excuse for not giving him a shot on the field last year was "He doesn't know the playbook." I'm thinking, "I don't give a ****! He's making plays that aren't plays!"

Jarren may not have known all four of Richt's plays - or maybe didn't do the Richt progressions sequence from right to left as prescribed, due to excellent intuition - but to not let him play in games - after we saw the two alternatives - made zero sense.

If Jarren is the man - I'm happy. If Tate is the man - I'm happy. I'm still burning a bit from last year's performances on and off the field by Perry - so I don't really trust him. He had a shot last year - and was woefully unprepared.

no one was prepared last year. you cant have a 25 yer old coach who wants to be your best friend as your QB coach. all 3 QBs had issues outside of rosier.

Exact same page. I like Tate but to me Jarren seems to have the highest ceiling of the 3. I hope he puts it together, and sticks around if he doesn't start vs UF. Some dudes take a little bit to get there, but that doesn't mean they aren't the truth.

Also said he has the best natural throwing mechanics and he definitely throws the best ball on the team. Wouldn't be surprised if Jarren wins the spot
